Chandler Wright is the Mission: Iconic Reefs stewardship manager, where she leads the design and implementation of the Iconic Reef Guardians program, empowering divers to actively contribute to coral reef restoration. She collaborates with Blue Star Dive operators, research specialists, and restoration practitioners to develop monitoring protocols and data collection strategies, while growing an engaged network of citizen scientists.

With more than 400 scientific dives, Wright has a strong foundation in coral restoration and education. Prior to joining the Iconic Reefs team, she served as a restoration practitioner and education outreach coordinator at Coral Restoration Foundationâ„¢, where she developed programs that reached tens of thousands of participants and advanced coral conservation efforts.

Wright graduated from Florida State University with honors in the field of biology. Her additional academic background in chemistry, environmental science, and global communications equipped her to work with coral restoration experts around the world. In her spare time, Wright enjoys competing in sand volleyball, playing guitar, and being active in her local church. Otherwise, she is usually found in or on the ocean.
